Run your biz like a pro

Recommend Resources

for holistic, heart-led businesses

No filler or fluff! These are some of my tried-and-trusted resources to help you level up your small business and run it with more efficiency and class. Want to chat about how these resources can fit into your own systems and workflows? Schedule a Creative Chat.

Stock Photos

Pexels

This is where I always start my stock image search. Tons of great video too! Photographers often share entire sets so you can find similar images quite easily.

UnSplash

Photos to use any way you like! No videos, though. These ones tend to have a little bit moodier vibe, but there’s thousands to choose from.

Wellness Stock Shop

A great place for photo bundles specific to your niche. Includes stock photos for Ayurveda, massage, herbalism, nutrition, and so much more!

Styled Stock Society

Tons of collections with great aesthetics. I love this one for their model diversity!

Inspired Stock Shop*

These photos have an airy and very mystical vibe. Think sage, crystals, and lots of witchy stuff.

Email Marketing

Flodesk*

My go-to! This is what I use for myself and most of my clients. Flodesk is a design-forward platform that’s simple to use and has tons of options to help you design beautiful emails. Functionality is simple so you can streamline your workflow and not get bogged down by an overly complex email platform. Use this link to try free for a month, then get 50% off your first year.

Mailchimp

In my humble opinion, the main selling point of Mailchimp is that it’s free when your list is small. It does all the basics — and when you’re ready for it, it has a lot of functionality. Compared to Flodesk, however, it’s harder to style and make things look on brand.

Convertkit

ConvertKit is another great option and, like Mailchimp, has a lot of complex functionality. If that’s what you need for your business, give it a go!

Design

Canva*

The most popular tool for small businesses to create their own graphics. I highly recommend the pro version so you can upload brand fonts, create branded templates, and have access to better graphics and stock photos.

Adobe Express

Another excellent way to make social media graphics, flyers, and so much more. Adobe is the standard for design professionals, so if you work with a designer on a regular basis this is a great way to have your workflows integrated.

Creative Market*

Not a design program, but an excellent source for graphic elements. Think patterns, textures, icons, fonts, mockups, and templates. So much here!

Legal

Creative Law Shop*

Customizable legal pages for your website. Includes privacy policies, terms and conditions, and even contracts that are tailored to your industry. Use the code RITUALMADE10 to save 10% on any purchase.

Copywriting

Copywriting for Creatives

This jam-packed course will teach you everything you need to know to write amazing words for your website, plus emails, social captions, product descriptions, and so, so much more. One of my most highly recommended resources! Check out my full course review on the blog.

Productivity

Cloud App*

My go-to platform for recording videos & gifs. With CloudApp I can quickly and easily record short snippets and longer presentations for my clients, then share with a click.

Dubsado*

A robust project management system that helps me streamline intake forms, contracts, and invoices, all in one place.

Printed Goods

Moo*

This is where I get most business cards printed. They also do stickers, flyers, thank-you cards, and other printed goods!

Printful*

Create and sell your own branded apparel and swag! It’s a “print on demand” service so there’ll be no headaches with inventory levels or shipping yourself. Plus you can seamlessly integrate everything into your Squarespace website.
